My name is Anna Myers
and I am the artist behind Little Dog Print Shop. Little Dog Print Shop is a one woman show. I make everything in my shop by hand from start to finish. I love printmaking and sewing and am inspired by nature (specifically the rich pond habitat beside my house in Durham, NC) and beautiful fabrics. Every item in my collection starts with a hand carved linoleum block print of an animal or plant that is local to the piedmont of North Carolina. I then take the freshly carved linoleum block, roll it with ink and print it one by one onto luxurious fabrics or paper. Everything is designed and sewn by me in my home studio. I value uniqueness and handmade items you wont find anywhere else. Little Dog Print Shop is a labor of love and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My shop name and mascot are inspired by my beloved mini-dachshund of 13 years, Max. He was my constant studio companion---by my side for everything I've ever made. After a good long life of slow walks, blanket burrowing and salmon snacking, Max left us in 2023 at the ripe old age of 16.
